My first periscope experience

Today I tried Periscope for the first time. Periscope is a new video app by Twitter.

I was on a walk around Lake Ginninderra again when I received a notification from a Star Trek friend in the USA. She was capturing her cat licking itself. I thought I’d show a bit of my walk.

I enjoyed trying out periscope, I reckon I’ll use it more often, especially for holidays.

I like the idea of sharing live video and having people I’m connected with seeing it, loving it and sharing comments.

It was good being able to see who was viewing the video live. You also have the option to keep the video in your camera roll which is what I’ve done so I can share it here. The file size is fairly small, this short video is <5 MB which makes for an easy upload to YouTube.

I reckon you should give periscope a go.

Are you tempted to use Periscope?
